Privacy Policy

ZtickyWorkz by Dazhboard
Effective Date: October 8, 2026

Introduction

ZtickyWorkz (“Zticky”, “we”, “our”, or “the Application”) is a productivity and information management application developed by Dazhboard. Zticky is designed around a local first, user controlled data approach. Our primary objective is to provide productivity tools while allowing users to retain control over their personal information, documents, projects, financial records, and other application content. This Privacy Policy explains how information is stored, accessed, transmitted, and processed when users interact with Zticky and its optional connectivity features.

Local Data Storage

Zticky primarily stores user generated information locally on the user’s device. This information may include:

  • Tasks, subtasks, dependencies, and reminders.
  • Ideas, plans, projects, and schedules.
  • Notes, documents, and Journal entries.
  • Financial records, budgets, assets, and liabilities.
  • Application preferences, settings, and configurations.
  • Locally imported files and other user generated content.

Under normal local operation, this information does not need to be uploaded to a central Zticky server. Users retain responsibility for managing their locally stored information, including device security, backups, and data recovery. Zticky does not claim ownership of user generated content.

 Journal and Personal Records

The Journal module allows users to organize, document, review, and preserve information related to their activities, projects, plans, and productivity workflows. Journal content may contain personal reflections, project documentation, task histories, calculations, financial information, and other records entered or generated by users. Journal information is primarily stored locally and remains under the user’s control. Creating, editing, viewing, exporting, or deleting Journal content does not inherently require transmission to an external server. However, Journal information may be transmitted when users intentionally enable synchronization, sharing, or other features requiring external communication.

  • Journal Lock and Access Protection

Zticky provides a Journal Lock feature intended to restrict unauthorized access to selected Journal content within the Application. Journal Lock is an application level access control feature designed to provide an additional layer of privacy. Users should understand that application level locking does not automatically guarantee file encryption, protection against operating system level access, or protection against individuals with administrative access to the device. The security provided by Journal Lock depends on its implementation and the security of the user’s device. Users remain responsible for protecting their devices, passwords, PINs, backups, and other credentials.

  • Journal Privacy and Module Lock

The Journal module stores user generated content locally on the user’s device. Journal Lock provides an additional application level access restriction intended to prevent unauthorized viewing through the ZtickyWorkz interface. Journal Lock does not independently encrypt stored Journal files and is not intended to replace operating system security, device encryption, or appropriate user account protection. ZtickyWorkz operates on the assumption that users maintain reasonable security protections on their personal computers. Journal content remains local unless the user explicitly authorizes an operation that requires transmission, such as sharing information with another device or enabling Google Drive synchronization. ZtickyWorkz does not independently transmit Journal content to its developer or a central application server.

  • Local WiFi Data Transfer

ZtickyWorkz allows users to transfer supported application data directly between compatible devices connected to the same local WiFi network. Every incoming transfer requires the receiving user’s explicit approval before the data is accepted. ZtickyWorkz does not automatically transmit locally stored tasks, plans, projects, journals, financial records, or other personal content to another device without user authorization. Data transfers are initiated by the sender and must be accepted by the intended recipient. The transfer process does not require a central ZtickyWorkz storage server. Users remain responsible for selecting trusted recipients and reviewing information before sharing it. Once accepted and transferred, the receiving user assumes responsibility for managing and protecting the received information.

  • Personal Google Drive Synchronization

ZtickyWorkz provides optional Google Drive synchronization using the user’s personal Google account. The integration uses the Google Drive drive.file OAuth permission scope, which limits application access to files created or opened with ZtickyWorkz through the authorized Google Drive integration. ZtickyWorkz does not request unrestricted access to the user’s entire Google Drive. Authentication tokens are stored securely and used only to maintain authorized Google Drive functionality. Synchronized files are stored in the individual user’s Google Drive account, not in a central storage account owned by ZtickyWorkz. ZtickyWorkz does not independently collect, retrieve, or retain copies of synchronized user content for the developer’s use. Automatic synchronization operates only when enabled by the user. Manual retrieval from Google Drive is performed through user initiated actions. Users may revoke Google Drive authorization through their Google Account settings. ZtickyWorkz’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

  • External Services and Third Party Providers

Certain Zticky features may require internet connectivity or interaction with external services. These may include:

  • Weather and environmental information providers.
  • Earthquake, disaster, and public information services.
  • Web based services and external websites.
  • Google Drive and related Google services.
  • Payment processing and license activation services.
  • Communication and customer support services.
  • Software distribution and update services.

When users access these features, technical information necessary to complete the requested operation may be transmitted to the relevant provider. External providers operate under their own privacy policies, security standards, terms of service, and data processing practices. Zticky does not control the independent operations of these providers.

  • Premium Licensing and Payment Information

Users purchasing or activating Zticky Premium may be required to provide information necessary for order verification, license generation, activation, and customer support. Depending on the applicable process, this may include a name, installation code, transaction reference, payment confirmation, or communication details. Payments may be processed through independent payment providers. Payment information submitted directly to these providers is governed by their respective privacy policies. Zticky may process information necessary to verify purchases, issue licenses, prevent unauthorized activation, and provide support.

  • License Registration and Activation Records

Unlike ordinary locally stored productivity content, certain information is retained by ZtickyWorkz for legitimate licensing and customer support purposes. This information includes:

  • Purchaser’s email address.
  • Purchaser’s registered name.
  • Device identification information associated with license activation.
  • License activation and registration records.

These records are maintained to verify legitimate purchases, manage Premium license activation, prevent unauthorized license use, and assist users who need to transfer or restore their licenses after changing computers. License registration information is separate from the user’s locally stored tasks, journals, financial records, documents, and other productivity content. ZtickyWorkz does not store users’ IP addresses or connection activity logs. License records are used for licensing administration and related customer support purposes.

  • Data Collection and Usage

Zticky does not intentionally collect the contents of locally stored notes, tasks, plans, financial records, documents, or Journal entries during ordinary offline operation. Information may be processed or transmitted when necessary to provide features explicitly requested or enabled by users. Such processing may include synchronization, device communication, license verification, software updates, or support requests. Zticky does not claim ownership of personal information created or maintained by users within the Application.

  • Data Security

Zticky is designed to minimize unnecessary transmission of locally managed user information. Depending on the feature, available security measures may include application level access restrictions, PIN protection, module locking, and other safeguards. These measures do not replace operating system security, device encryption, secure account credentials, or appropriate backup practices. No software application, storage system, or communication network can guarantee absolute security. Users should take reasonable precautions when handling sensitive information, sharing data with other devices, or enabling cloud synchronization.

  • Data Retention and Deletion

Locally stored information generally remains on the user’s device until it is modified or deleted through the Application or affected by device and operating system changes. Removing the Application, resetting the device, deleting application storage, or modifying files manually may result in permanent data loss. Information previously transferred to another device or synchronized to an external service may remain available at that destination until separately deleted. Zticky cannot automatically guarantee the removal of copies retained by other users or independent external providers.

  • User Responsibilities and Control

Users are responsible for determining what information they create, store, share, synchronize, export, or delete. Users should review sensitive information before transferring it to another device or enabling external synchronization. Zticky provides tools to assist with information management but does not assume responsibility for the accuracy, legality, completeness, or confidentiality of information voluntarily shared by users.

  • Children’s Privacy

Zticky is a general productivity application and is not specifically designed to collect personal information from children. Users who are minors should use the Application in accordance with applicable laws and, where required, with parental or guardian supervision.

  • Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in application functionality, technical infrastructure, security practices, applicable laws, or third party integrations. Material changes may be communicated through the Application or the official Zticky website. The updated policy will indicate its effective date.
